Here's exactly what happens between requesting access and having your collection organized in Stowcase.
Set up your profile
Pick a handle and display name, and decide up front whether your individual collections, and optionally your wishlist, are public or private. You can change this anytime in Settings.
Bring in what you already have
Already tracking your collection elsewhere? Import from Discogs, Blu-ray.com, Goodreads, or a spreadsheet from the Settings page so you're not starting from zero. Follow the import guide for source-specific steps and recommended columns.
Add the rest by barcode
Scan a case to match it in seconds. If a scan doesn't find the release, switch to manual search and enter the title, format, and any copy-specific details.
Use the tools built for a real shelf
Track wishlist items and convert them to owned copies when you pick them up, record loans so you remember who has what, and check the Stats page for a summary of your collection.
Before you start
What to have on hand
- ✓A phone with a camera for barcode scanning
- ✓The case, sleeve, or spine in hand. Format and edition are easiest to confirm while you're holding the copy
- ✓Export files from Discogs, Blu-ray.com, or Goodreads, if you want to import an existing list
