John Hurt

John Hurt trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before establishing himself as an actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Richard Rich in the 1966 film A Man for All Seasons and received multiple BAFTA Award nominations for his performances in 10 Rillington Place, The Naked Civil Servant, and Alien. In the 1970s and 1980s, he appeared in notable roles such as Caligula in I, Claudius, Joseph Merrick in The Elephant Man, and Bob Champion in Champions. His diverse filmography also includes appearances in the Harry Potter series, Hellboy, The Skeleton Key, The Proposition, V for Vendetta, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
