A young lawyer named Robert "Stormy" Weathers, fresh out of law school, seizes an opportunity to represent a high-profile banker in court. To gain attention and boost his reputation, Weathers orchestrates a media spectacle around the case, eventually securing a win through an unlikely alliance with the opposing lawyer. With his newfound fame and a promotion, Weathers takes on a new challenge as lead defense counsel in a murder trial. However, upon discovering that his client is actually guilty, Weathers' primary motivation shifts from defending him to exacting revenge.
