Weird Science

1985

In Shermer High School, two socially awkward nerds, Gary Wallace and Wyatt Donnelly, are constantly humiliated by their jock peers, Ian and Max. To boost their popularity, Gary and Wyatt create a virtual woman named Lisa, inspired by the Frankenstein film, using Wyatt's computer and government systems. With Lisa's reality-altering powers, she takes them on wild adventures and challenges, gradually breaking down their uptight personalities. However, as the party gets out of control, Lisa's creations cause chaos and destruction, ultimately leading to a heart-to-heart conversation between Gary, Wyatt, and Lisa. She realizes the boys' worth beyond their popularity and decides to disappear, leaving behind a trail of magic and transformation.
