2001 · 111 min · R

The movie opens with Jim Levenstein reuniting with his friends Kevin, Chris "Oz" Ostreicher, and Paul Finch after college, with the goal of throwing the ultimate summer party at a lakefront beach house. To afford the rent, they take on jobs painting houses, with Jim seeking out his prom date Michelle for guidance on how to navigate sex. As the party preparations unfold, the group faces various misadventures, including an encounter with a couple who are mistaken for lesbians, a disastrous phone sex attempt, and a misguided foray into tantric arts. Amidst these antics, romantic feelings develop between Jim and Michelle, as well as between Oz and his girlfriend Heather, whose arrival unexpectedly adds to the chaos. Ultimately, the guys' camaraderie and willingness to support one another lead them through the ups and downs of the summer, culminating in a raucous and unforgettable party that cements their bond.
