A ship transporting wounded soldiers across the White Sea is attacked by German aircraft and sinks beneath the icy waters. Two survivors emerge, a blind soldier and a nurse, forming an unlikely bond as the nurse takes on the role of the soldier's guide through the treacherous terrain of ice and snow. As they navigate their perilous path, the nurse becomes the soldier's sole means of perception, while he provides emotional support and protection. However, their fragile existence is threatened by the German pilot tasked with destroying the pair, adding an element of danger and urgency to their desperate quest for survival. With no clear escape route in sight, the duo must rely on each other to stay alive and hope for a chance at rescue.
