Fast Times at Ridgemont High

1982

Stacy Hamilton, a 15-year-old freshman, navigates her first year at Ridgemont High, working part-time at Perry's Pizza and struggling to understand the complexities of relationships, particularly her envy of her senior friends, such as Linda Barrett, who claims to be engaged to college-student Doug. Meanwhile, her older brother Brad, a popular senior, faces his own challenges, including a job at All-American Burger and a tumultuous relationship with his girlfriend Lisa. As the school year unfolds, Stacy finds herself entangled in various romantic misadventures, including a brief encounter with a 26-year-old stereo salesman, Ron Johnson, and a complicated relationship with her friend Mark "Rat" Ratner. Through these experiences, Stacy learns valuable lessons about love, friendship, and identity.
