Legendary Pictures

Thomas Tull founded Legendary Entertainment in Burbank, California, in 2000. The company initially collaborated with major studios like Warner Bros. Pictures, Universal Pictures, and Sony Pictures. Over time, Legendary also partnered with streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. In 2016, Legendary became a subsidiary of the Chinese conglomerate Wanda Group, acquiring a minority stake from American equity firm Apollo in 2022. However, in 2024, Legendary's management purchased Wanda's stake, resulting in both companies holding equal shares alongside Apollo.
