Seth Rogen

Originally a stand-up comedian in Vancouver, Rogen began his career in comedy before moving to Los Angeles to appear in Judd Apatow's series Freaks and Geeks and later in Apatow's sitcom Undeclared, where he also served as a writer. Apatow guided him toward a film career after Rogen landed a job as a staff writer on the final season of Da Ali G Show, for which the writing team was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. Rogen made his film debut with a minor role in Donnie Darko and went on to have supporting parts in several Apatow-directed films, including The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up. He then co-wrote and starred in numerous successful comedies with writer Evan Goldberg, while also venturing into dramatic roles and television production.
