Ryuuzaburou Ootomo
Ryūzaburō Ōtomo began his career as an actor and narrator, affiliating himself with prominent production companies such as Aoni Production, 81 Produce, and the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society. He gained recognition for voicing villainous characters in various anime series, including Mahōjin Guru Guru, Digimon, One Piece, and Yūsha Keisatsu J-Decker. In these roles, he portrayed notable figures like Lord Giri, Crocodile, and Jūsan Saejima. Following the passing of several colleagues, Ōtomo took over their ongoing roles, ensuring continuity in their respective series. His distinctive voice also enabled him to secure foreign film-dubbing roles, which were later occupied by other actors in different editions.
