Natalie Portman
Born in Jerusalem and moving to the United States at three, Natalie Portman began her acting career at twelve, starring in Léon: The Professional alongside a hitman. She later made her Broadway debut in The Diary of Anne Frank while still in high school, gaining international recognition for her role as Padmé Amidala in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Portman attended Harvard University, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology, during which time she appeared in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and performed in a revival of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. She went on to receive critical acclaim for her performances in films like Closer, Black Swan, and Thor, earning an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of a troubled ballerina.
