Michael York
Born into an English upper-class family, Michael York began his acting career on stage with the Royal National Theatre before making a breakthrough in films with his portrayal of Tybalt in Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet. He went on to secure leading roles in several major British and Hollywood films throughout the 1970s, including Something for Everyone, Zeppelin, and Cabaret. York's subsequent film appearances included notable roles such as D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers and Count Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express. In his later career, he gained recognition as Basil Exposition in the Austin Powers film series. York has been nominated twice for Emmy Awards and was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to motion pictures.
