Mark Margolis
Margolis began his acting career in film, making his debut in 1976. He furthered his training at the Actors Studio in New York City, studying under Stella Adler. His breakthrough came with notable roles in various films, including Scarface and those directed by Darren Aronofsky, such as π, Requiem for a Dream, and The Fountain, where Aronofsky wrote the part of Father Avila specifically for him. Margolis also had recurring roles on multiple television shows, including The Equalizer, Oz, Law & Order, and Californication, among others, showcasing his versatility in both film and television.
