Larisa Oleynik

Larisa Romanovna Oleynik starred in the title role of the popular television series The Secret World of Alex Mack, which helped launch her career in the mid-1990s. She then appeared in theatrical films such as The Baby-Sitters Club. In the following years, Oleynik mostly appeared in lower-budget films. As a teenager, she became a teen idol, being referred to as "one of America's favorite 15-year-olds" and symbolizing the idealized "girl next door." Her early success made her a household name during her teenage years.
