Joe Dante
Born on November 28, 1946, Joe Dante began his career in the film industry through training and early work in the genre. He made his mark in the 1970s with the horror film Piranha, followed by The Howling in 1981. His subsequent films often blended elements of B movies from the 1950s with radical 1960s themes and cartoon comedy. Some notable works include Gremlins and its sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch, which showcased his unique style mixing genres, as well as Matinee, Small Soldiers, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
