Harry Morgan

Born Harry Bratsberg, Morgan began his acting career after serving in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. His early television work included the sitcom December Bride, where he played Pete Porter, followed by another series featuring the same character, Pete and Gladys. He then transitioned to starring as Officer Bill Gannon in the crime drama series Dragnet, before landing the lead role of Amos Coogan in the western series Hec Ramsey. Morgan's notable performance as Colonel Sherman T. Potter in the popular war drama MASH cemented his place in television history, and he continued to appear in numerous films throughout his long career.
