Geena Davis

Born on January 21, 1956, Virginia Elizabeth Davis began her career as a fashion model before transitioning into acting. Her early work included appearances in films such as The Fly and Beetlejuice. Davis also made a name for herself in television with the series Commander in Chief, earning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama. On the big screen, she starred in notable films like Thelma & Louise and A League of Their Own, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1988.
