Daisuke Tengan

Daisuke Tengan's early life is marked by his connection to his father, renowned director Shohei Imamura. Having completed his education at Ryuku University, Tengan began his career in the publishing industry, joining Shinchosha in 1984 before departing two years later to focus on a more artistic path. This transition ultimately led to his entry into filmmaking, as his debut as a director occurred in 1990.
