Beau Bridges
As a child, Beau Bridges began acting with uncredited roles in films like Force of Evil and No Minor Vices in 1948, and then played in The Red Pony in 1949 alongside his future brother, Jeff Bridges. He made appearances on various television shows, including National Velvet, The Fugitive, Bonanza, and The Loner, and continued to act in films such as The Landlord and The Other Side of the Mountain throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Bridges' breakout role came in 1989 with The Fabulous Baker Boys, followed by notable performances in shows like Harts of the West, Maximum Bob, and Stargate SG-1, where he played the character of Major General Hank Landry. His work earned him multiple award nominations, including a 2007 Emmy Award nod.
