Weekend Pass

1984

A detective is pulled out of retirement to hunt four androids hiding in a future city. Written and directed by Lawrence Bassoff, the film is based on a story by Mark Tenser. The movie marks the first major film appearance for comedian Phil Hartman, who played the lead role under his real name. With this unusual premise, Bassoff's direction brings a comedic twist to the typically serious genre of futuristic thrillers.
