Atlas Entertainment
Charles Roven, Bob Cavallo and Dawn Steel founded Atlas Entertainment in 1994 as a film financing and production company. The company's name is derived from the Greek Titan Atlas, who was said to hold up the heavens. Roven, Cavallo and Steel started the venture with a shared vision to produce high-quality films. Initially, the company focused on financing independent films before expanding into more mainstream productions. This early focus allowed the trio to develop a reputation for producing innovative and engaging cinematic experiences.
