Vivica A. Fox
Fox began her acting career on the popular music and variety show Soul Train before transitioning to daytime television, where she played roles on the soap operas Days of Our Lives and Generations. Her breakthrough role came in 1996 with starring parts in Independence Day and Set It Off, marking the beginning of a successful film career. Fox went on to appear in numerous films, including Booty Call, Soul Food, and Two Can Play That Game, as well as television shows like Getting Personal and City of Angels. She also directed her first film, First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story, about the First Lady of the Black Mafia Family in Detroit.
