Comic Book
Stan Lee
Stanley Martin Lieber began working at Timely Comics, a family-run business, as an assistant, eventually rising through the ranks to become the company's primary creative leader. Under his guidance, Marvel Comics expanded from a small publishing house division into a multimedia corporation, dominating both the comics and film industries. In collaboration with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, Lieber co-created numerous iconic characters, including Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk, pioneering a more naturalistic approach in superhero comics. His influence extended beyond the comics, as he challenged the restrictions of the Comics Code Authority and pursued the development of Marvel properties in other media, making cameo appearances in various films and television shows.
