Russell Mulcahy

Mulcahy began his career directing music videos for notable artists such as Elton John and Duran Duran, before transitioning into feature filmmaking with the release of Razorback, a horror film that marked his directorial debut. His subsequent work gained international recognition with the fantasy action film Highlander, which went on to spawn a multimedia franchise. This success led to a series of sequels, including Highlander II: The Quickening, as well as films in other genres, such as The Shadow and Resident Evil: Extinction. Additionally, he served as a director and executive producer on the television series Teen Wolf from 2011 to 2017, and more recently directed a feature film spin-off of the same series.
