Roman Coppola

As the son of renowned filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, Roman Coppola began his career in the film industry, working behind the scenes on his father's projects such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Coppola's experience in in-camera visual effects and second unit direction led to collaborations with directors like Wes Anderson on films like The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Darjeeling Limited. As a successful music video and commercial director, Coppola worked with prominent artists including The Strokes, Daft Punk, and Phoenix, earning recognition for his work, including a spot in the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Coppola has also ventured into television, creating the acclaimed series Mozart in the Jungle, which won the 2016 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
