Rene Russo

Born into a show business family, Rene Russo began her career as a fashion model in the 1970s, gracing magazine covers such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Her film debut came in the 1989 comedy Major League, followed by a series of high-profile action and thriller films throughout the 1990s, including Lethal Weapon 3 and In the Line of Fire. After taking a break from acting, Russo returned to the screen as Frigga in the Marvel superhero film Thor, a role she reprised in subsequent sequels. She received critical acclaim for her portrayal in the crime thriller Nightcrawler, earning a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress and a BAFTA nomination.
