Born with nystagmus, Pruitt Taylor Vince began his career in the film industry with a role in Jim Jarmusch's Down by Law, although his scenes were later edited out. He gained recognition for his supporting roles in films like Mississippi Burning, where he portrayed a dim-witted Ku Klux Klan member, and JFK, where he played Lee Bowers.
