Philip Tan

Phil Tan began his athletic career as a gymnast, becoming the British Youth Tumbling champion and a member of the British squad for many years. He later transitioned to martial arts, earning the title of Men's British Tae Kwon do Champion. In film, Tan made his debut as an actor and fight choreographer in the 1980 French-Italian production Le complot diabolique du docteur Fu Manchu alongside Peter Sellers. He went on to collaborate with Christopher Lambert on Greystoke, la légende de Tarzan in 1984, before being approached by Steven Spielberg and Robert Watts to train Jonathan Ke Quanin for Indiana Jones et le temple maudit.
