Nastassja Kinski
Born into an acting family, Nastassja Kinski began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. Her breakthrough role came in 1978 with the film Stay as You Are, but it was her portrayal of the titular character in Roman Polanski's Tess that earned her international recognition, winning her a Golden Globe Award. This critically acclaimed performance was followed by notable roles in Francis Ford Coppola's One from the Heart and Paul Schrader's Cat People, as well as collaborations with directors Wim Wenders on Paris, Texas and Faraway, So Close!.
