Mike Mendez

Born in Los Angeles, Mendez began creating his own films in his backyard at the age of 10. He went on to make his feature film debut with "Killers," which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival and later acquired by Alpine Pictures for distribution in the US. This was followed by another Sundance acceptance, this time for "The Convent," which received a worldwide theatrical release after being picked up by Lionsgate. Additionally, Mendez produced a documentary series titled "Masters of Horror," which featured interviews with notable horror filmmakers. His subsequent film, "The Gravedancers," premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released theatrically nationwide by Lionsgate & After Dark Films.
