Margo Martindale

Born in Jacksonville, Texas, Martindale was the youngest of three children and only daughter to William Everett and Margaret Pruitt Martindale. Her family was involved in various pursuits, including owning a lumber company and dog handling, with her father being a champion in both areas. Martindale participated in multiple extracurricular activities during her school years, including golf, cheerleading, and drama. After graduating from Jacksonville High School in 1969, she attended Lon Morris College before transferring to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where she also conducted summer studies at Harvard University. During her time at Michigan, she appeared onstage alongside notable actors Jonathan Frakes and Christopher Reeve.
