Director
Le Van Kiet
Born on the outskirts of Bien Hoa near Ho Chi Minh City, Le Van Kiet began his life in the US after moving there at just two years old. Raised in a foreign country, Kiet's exposure to different cultures likely influenced his filmmaking style. He pursued his passion for film studies at UCLA, graduating from the School of Film and Television after attending as an adult. After completing his education, Kiet returned to Vietnam to launch his film career. His early works included the 2012 psychological horror film House in the Alley, and he also directed Bay Cap 3 and The Lost Tour: Vietnam, both of which were initially denied release.
