Kim Basinger

Kim Basinger began her career as a fashion model in New York before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. In 1976, she started appearing in television productions, including a remake of From Here to Eternity, and made her feature film debut in the drama Hard Country in 1981. Her breakthrough role came in 1983 as Domino Petachi in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again, earning her a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in The Natural later that year. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Vicki Vale in Tim Burton's Batman in 1989, a film that became the highest-grossing of her career.
