Ken Friedman
Friedman was a member of Fluxus, an international laboratory for experimental art, architecture, design, and music. As the youngest member of the classic Fluxus group, he joined the organization in 1966. He collaborated with notable Fluxus artists and composers, including George Maciunas, Dick Higgins, and Nam June Paik, as well as musicians like John Cage and Joseph Beuys. Additionally, Friedman served as the general manager of Dick Higgins's Something Else Press in the early 1970s. His later career transitioned into academia, with positions as Professor of Leadership and Strategic Design at the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo and Dean of the Faculty of Design at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, before becoming Professor Emeritus and Chair Professor of Design Innovation Studies at Tongji University.
