Julie Christie
Christie moved to England from British India at the age of six and attended boarding school there. She began her acting career in a BBC television series in 1961, marking the start of her professional journey. Her breakthrough came two years later when she landed her first major film role in a romantic comedy. This success led to her portrayal of "Diana Scott" in the film Darling, which made her a household name internationally in 1965. She also appeared in David Lean's Doctor Zhivago that same year, cementing her status as a prominent figure in 1960s popular culture.
