Joel Coen
Joel Daniel Coen, born on November 29, 1954, is an American filmmaker who has collaborated extensively with his brother Ethan. Alongside his brother, he has directed, written, edited, and produced numerous feature films, including Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, and Fargo, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for writing. The duo has worked together since the early days of their careers, with notable successes including Barton Fink, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. As part of this collaboration, they have been nominated for and won several awards, including three Oscars for writing, directing, and producing No Country for Old Men.
