Jared Harris
Born in Hammersmith, London, Jared Harris is the son of Irish actor Richard Harris and Welsh actress Elizabeth Rees-Williams. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London after studying drama and literature at Duke University in North Carolina. Harris made his film debut in 1989 with a small role in The Rachel Papers, followed by appearances in films such as The Last of the Mohicans, Natural Born Killers, and Smoke. He gained recognition for his recurring role as Lane Pryce in the AMC television series Mad Men, earning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Harris has since appeared in various TV series, including Fringe, The Crown, and Foundation, and has showcased his stage acting skills in productions like The Crucible and The Cherry Orchard.
