Jamie Delano

Delano's entry into the world of comics began during the "British Invasion," a period marked by British writers' increasing presence in American comics. As part of this movement, he started contributing to comics in the 1980s, alongside other notable figures. His breakthrough came when he became the first writer of the Hellblazer series, a role that would establish him as a prominent figure in the industry. This series featured John Constantine, a complex and often cynical character who has since become a staple of the DC Comics universe.
