Jacqueline McKenzie

Jacqueline McKenzie made her film debut in the 1987 film Wordplay and later appeared on stage in Child Dancing for Griffin Theatre Company. Her breakthrough role came in the 1992 film Romper Stomper, which established her as one of Australia's most promising young actresses. She went on to receive Australian Film Institute Award nominations for her roles in several films, including Stark, This Won't Hurt a Bit, The Battlers, and Traps, before winning two awards in 1995 for her performances in Halifax f.p: "Lies of the Mind" and Angel Baby. Following her success, McKenzie ventured to the United States, securing a Green Card, and later appeared in films such as Deep Blue Sea and Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.
