Harve Presnell

Presnell began his career as a classical baritone, singing with orchestras and opera companies throughout the US. He transitioned to musical theatre in 1960, starring in the lead role of Meredith Willson's Broadway musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown, earning a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal. After this success, Presnell mostly worked as a musical theatre performer until the early 1970s, when his film career slowed down. However, his movie career experienced a resurgence in the 1990s, with notable roles in Fargo, Saving Private Ryan, and Flags of Our Fathers. He continued to appear on screen, including television shows like The Pretender, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and Dawson's Creek.
