Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Mbatha-Raw trained at the National Youth Music Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before gaining recognition for her roles as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Octavia in Anthony and Cleopatra at the Royal Exchange Theatre. Her breakout performance came in 2013 with the British period drama film Belle, for which she won the BIFA for Best Actress. She went on to appear in notable films such as Beyond the Lights, Miss Sloane, and Beauty and the Beast, and received critical acclaim for her work in the Emmy Award-winning Black Mirror episode "San Junipero." Additionally, she has had roles in several TV series, including Undercovers, Touch, The Morning Show, and Loki, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
