Geraldine Chaplin
Born to Charlie Chaplin and his fourth wife Oona O'Neill, Geraldine Chaplin began her career in dance and modeling before transitioning to acting. Her breakthrough role came as Tonya in David Lean's Doctor Zhivago, earning her a Golden Globe nomination. On stage, she made her Broadway debut in Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes in 1967, followed by a role as ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti in Raúl Araiza's Nefertiti and Akhenaton. Chaplin also worked extensively with Spanish director Carlos Saura, appearing in several of his films, including Ana and the Wolves and Elisa, vida mía. She received multiple award nominations for her performances, including two Golden Globes and a Goya Award.
