Novel
Frank Miller
Miller began his career as a comic book writer, penning Daredevil from 1979 to 1983, and again in 1986 with the notable arc Daredevil: Born Again. During this time, he introduced iconic characters such as Elektra and the Hand. His work expanded beyond superheroes with influential stories like The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year One. Miller also created the creator-owned series Ronin and Sin City, which combined elements of film noir and manga. He aimed to create a hybrid style, blending the wordiness of American and English comics with the visual storytelling of Japanese comics. This approach earned him numerous awards, including induction into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2015.
