Eminem

Born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, Eminem developed his alter ego Slim Shady, a dark and violent persona, allowing him to express intense emotions through lyrics about taboo subjects such as drugs, rape, and murder. This provocative style brought him widespread attention and sparked controversy, yet it also helped break down racial barriers for white rappers in popular music. As a result, Eminem became a powerful representation of the anxieties and frustrations of the American underclass, influencing numerous artists across various genres. His unflinching honesty and unapologetic style have cemented his place in hip-hop history.
