Emily Watson
Born into a family of artists, Emily Watson began her career on stage before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1992. Her breakthrough came in 1996 with Lars von Trier's Breaking the Waves, earning her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. This led to further nominations for her roles in Hilary and Jackie and Angela's Ashes, both released in 1998 and 1999 respectively. Watson continued to expand her filmography, appearing in notable titles such as Gosford Park, Synecdoche, New York, and The Theory of Everything, demonstrating her versatility as an actress.
