David Winters
David Winters began his career at a young age, acting in various film and television projects including Lux Video Theatre and Naked City. He gained recognition for his roles in Broadway musicals such as West Side Story and Gypsy, before being cast in the film adaptation of West Side Story, which became the highest-grossing motion picture of that year and won 10 Academy Awards. As a dance choreographer, Winters worked with notable artists like Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret, choreographing projects like Viva Las Vegas and T.A.M.I. Show. He also choreographed popular dances for television shows and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the television special Movin' with Nancy. Additionally, Winters ventured into directing films such as Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare and The Last Horror Film, and later founded Action International Pictures, producing and distributing action-oriented films throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
