Bryan Johnson

Born on December 7, he began his career as a writer for several comic books, including those published by Marvel and Image Comics. His work eventually led him to collaborate with filmmaker Kevin Smith, who cast him as Steve-Dave Pulasti, the owner of a comic book store, in Smith's New Jersey films, including Mallrats and Chasing Amy. Johnson also served as the inspiration behind the character Randal Graves in another Smith film, Clerks. As part of the View Askewniverse, Johnson appeared in various other projects, further solidifying his connection to the filmmaker and his native New Jersey.
