Baltasar Breki Samper

As the son of Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur, Baltasar Breki Samper began his career in filmmaking by assisting his father on several projects at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. Following graduation, he transitioned into acting, gaining recognition for his portrayal of Hjörtur in the Icelandic TV series Trapped, which marked a significant milestone in his professional journey. Prior to this, Samper's experience as a second assistant director on his family's films provided valuable insight and hands-on experience in the industry.
