Anton Yelchin

Born in Leningrad to a Russian Jewish family, Anton Yelchin relocated to the United States as an infant. In the late 1990s, he began performing in television roles and appeared in Hollywood films such as Along Came a Spider and Hearts in Atlantis. His significant role as Jacob Clarke in the Steven Spielberg miniseries Taken helped further his career as a child actor. Yelchin went on to appear in various films, including Terminator Salvation, Charlie Bartlett, and Fright Night, often working on independent and lower-profile projects like Like Crazy, Green Room, and 5 to 7. He also provided voices for animated series, including Clumsy Smurf in the live-action Smurfs films and James 'Jim' Lake Jr. in Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia.
