Brad Pitt co-founded Plan B Entertainment with Brad Grey, Kristin Hahn, and Jennifer Aniston, signing with Warner Bros. shortly after its inception. After Pitt and Aniston's divorce, Brad Grey left the company and became CEO of Paramount Pictures, with Pitt becoming the sole owner. Dede Gardner served as president before being joined by Jeremy Kleiner as co-president in 2013. During this time, three Plan B films - The Departed, 12 Years a Slave, and Moonlight - won the Academy Award for Best Picture, earning Pitt, Gardner, and Kleiner the Producers Guild of America's David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures in 2020.
